2)  Test 2 Possible Essay Questions:

1)  Discuss how Andrew Jackson used his power as president on each of the following issues:
      a)  The role of the Second Bank of the United States
      b)  The tariff and nullification crisis
      c)  The status of Native Americans in the eastern states

2)  Analyze the impact of 3 things in this unit that influenced the "sectional crisis" between the
     North and South.


3)  Finish work on the Compromise of 1850 assignment and groups present (audience take class
     notes).

4)  Homework: Study for Test 2.  You can send me outlines and questions for feedback.

     b)  4 groups: Compromise of 1850 (Day 1 of 2)
     c)  Individually, start by taking notes following the guidelines
     d)  As a group, write 2 paragraphs for group presentation using the guidelines (present 
          tomorrow)
     e)  Question to answer: "Compare and contrast the views in Document A and Document B on
          the Compromise of 1850."
